Let's talk about Roger Corman, I never quite had the chance until now. The King of B-Movies, always makes films quick to the point of shooting any of them in two days, I kid you not. He has directed 50 films and produced over 300 films and you can attribute that number to his production company New World Pictures, dating all the way to the 1970's until his regime finally came to an end in 1983 where he sold it himself and moved on but even he launched the careers of very successful such as the likes of James Cameron, Joe Dante, Ron Howard, Jonathan Demme, Jack Nicholson, Sylvester Stallone, even Martin Scorsese, they all went to the school ofFireCracker Review by ~Movie-Man

Pain and Gain Review
"The event you are about to see took place in Miami Florida between October 1994 and June 95. Unfortunately, this is a true story."

You know what? Let me start with this text from a certain old TV show.

The story you are about to see is true. The names have been changed, to protect the innocent.

That's basically how I describe this film and its handling of the actual story. But really, you wouldn't believe half of the stuff unless you actually read the actual story. Iron Man 3 Review
"You don't know who I am. You don't know where I am. And you'll NEVER see me coming."

Let's take a trip to 2008. Marvel had now released their first in-house film after years of other studios handling their properties such as 20th Century Fox with the X-Men and Sony with Spider-Man. Technically, Iron Man was in the works at other studios such as New Line Cinema with Nick Cassavetes at one point set to direct before Marvel gained the rights back once they started their in-house movie production. So finally under Jon Faverau, the film was released to fans, critics and audiences praising the film like mad. It was a surprise hit and in turn led Iron Man 3 Review by ~Movie-Man

Live and Let Die Review
So when Sean Connery said "Never again" when it came to playing James Bond after Diamonds Are Forever, he really did mean never. Until 1983's Never Say Never Again but that's another story. So the producers just up and decided to find a new actor to play James Bond. At one point Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood were considered but the latter turned it down saying that James Bond should be played by a British man. So the producers settled on Roger Moore who at that point was well known as Simon Templar from The Saint. Considering he had to follow up on Connery, he had big shoes to fill. Kind of funny he ended up being more well known for playiLive and Let Die Review by ~Movie-Man

Tis I, Herr Wozzeck, here to welcome you to the FLS.

What exactly do we do here? A few things:

1) We will fav any kind of film-related fanart here and try to get it out there a little bit. Not mandatory, but hey, you know how things go.

2) The main thing: we talk about movies! We talk about your favorite movies. We talk about your least favorite movies. We talk about movies we love. And we just, generally, talk about movies. Hey, we're a film lover group, what did you expect?

3) Again, it isn't mandatory, but you are allowed to post your own thoughts on a movie that recently came out. Do so in the form of blogs, wall posts, however you feel like doing it. Any opinions are welcome!

So, yeah, we just talk about movies (and add fanart of movies to the favorites as well if we feel like it). So there you are.

* Stand Alone Yoda Movie In The Works! *

Rumors have been flying fast about Disney’s plans for “Star Wars” in the aftermath of the Mouse House acquiring the franchise. We already know for sure that J.J. Abrams is directing “Star Wars: Episode VII”. You can take that one to the bank. Less certain, though, is this persistent talk that Disney plans on expanding the “Star Wars” universe with . . . .
